Storms River Information

Storms River is located just outside Tsitsikamma National Park in the Western Region of the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. The scenic beauty of the area truly makes it a wonderland. Stormsriver has everything: cliffs, seas, forests etc.

Close by is one of the best preserved forests in South Africa containing enormous trees including a 36m tall Yellowwood. The Storms River Mouth entrance to the Tsitsikamma National Park features a number of short walking trails including one with a suspension bridge.

Storms River, which nestles virtually at the perimeter of the Tsitsikamma National Park, is famed for its adventure activities. Storms River village provides a number of adventure activities like the Canopy tours, bungee jumping from the Bloukrans River Bridge, which claims to the be the world’s highest at 216 metres, biking trails, fishing excursions and Black Water Tubing and kloofing.
