The Cape St Francis Nature Reserve is a 3 km stretch of coastal dune fynbos with a few milkwood and candlewood trees between the dunes. Fauna on the reserve include several small antelope, vervet monkey, otter, and mongoose. From August to December whales and dolphins can also be seen frolicking in the sea.
