Pringle Bay Information

 

Situated in the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, Pringle Bay lies in the heart of Cape Floral Kingdom. Although a little windy, the beach is nearly always pretty deserted, the town is very safe, and family friendly. There are various restaurants and curio shops to visit.

Amongst the many wonderful places of interest in the area, it also offers excellent crayfishing & diving opportunities, safe and clean beaches, hiking trails, bird watching, and superb fishing. Mainly known as a holiday destination, there are however a growing number of people who choose to reside here permanently. The town has 1 728 erven, 975 houses and has 800 permanent residents.

The beach is exposed to the wind, and frequently empty. The town is safe, and family friendly and is home to a number of restaurants and curio shops which serve locals, holiday-makers and passers-by.
